I chose to run for Tell Every Amazing Lady® because I wanted to make my birthday—on race day—truly meaningful by doing something that gives back. While this cause focuses on ovarian cancer, I’m personally motivated by the experience my boyfriend’s mother had with breast cancer and the impact it had on our family, so supporting women’s health in any form feels important to me. Growing up with a mom who is a nurse, I’ve always heard stories about the strength of patients and the importance of compassionate care, so running with this team gives me a way to honor both the caregivers and the amazing women they support, while helping raise awareness and funds for a cause that uplifts women everywhere.
